Last updated: March 22, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RxRoute platform and services ("Service") provided by Scalater LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Description
RxRoute is a medication shipment tracking platform for telemedicine and pharmacy operations. The Service provides an API and dashboard for registering, monitoring, and receiving updates on shipment tracking numbers through direct integrations with shipping carriers.
2. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must:
- Create an account with accurate and complete information
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be authorized to act on behalf of the organization you represent
- Maintain the security of your account credentials and API keys
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including activity by users you authorize within your organization.
3. Plans and Billing
The Service offers multiple subscription plans with varying tracking volume limits and API rate limits. Plan details and pricing are available on our pricing page.
- Subscriptions are billed monthly unless otherwise agreed
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe
- You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time
- Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
- No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
- If you exceed your plan's tracking limit, additional trackings may be rejected until your next billing period or until you upgrade
4. Free Plan
The Free plan provides limited access to the Service at no cost. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Free plan at any time. Free plan accounts that remain inactive for 90 consecutive days may be deactivated.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Submit tracking numbers you are not authorized to track
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, usage limits, or security measures
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Resell or redistribute access to the Service without our written consent
- Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation
- Transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful data through the API
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service beyond normal API usage
6. API Usage
- API keys are confidential. You must not share, publish, or embed API keys in client-side code
- Rate limits apply per plan. Exceeding rate limits may result in throttled or rejected requests
- We may suspend API access if we detect abuse or abnormal usage patterns
- Webhook endpoints you register must be secure (HTTPS) and respond within a reasonable time
7. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for ensuring that any data you submit to the Service complies with applicable laws, including healthcare regulations.
8. HIPAA Disclaimer
RxRoute is designed with HIPAA-readiness in mind. However, the Service handles tracking numbers and generic metadata only — not Protected Health Information (PHI). You are solely responsible for ensuring that data submitted to RxRoute does not contain PHI unless a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) has been executed between your organization and Scalater LLC. Enterprise customers may request a BAA by contacting sales@rxroute.com.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, documentation, API, and brand assets, is owned by Scalater LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
10. Availability and Support
- We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime
- Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible
- Support is provided via email. Enterprise plans may include dedicated support with custom SLAs
- Carrier API availability is outside our control. Tracking updates depend on carrier systems
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scalater LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Scalater LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
14. Termination
- You may cancel your account at any time through the dashboard or by contacting support
- We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms
- Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately
- We will retain your data for 90 days after termination, after which it will be deleted
- Sections on liability, indemnification, and intellectual property survive termination
15. Modifications to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules, unless otherwise required by law.
